Barbara Mellen, also known as "The Earring Lady," handcrafts her colorful earrings from a wide variety of American made glasses which she cuts into tiny pieces and melts together in a kiln. Her earrings include an iridescent dichroic coating that appears to change color depending on the angle of the light. Most of the sterling silver wires are made by Barbara's sister, Sarah Mellen.
